Protect
Protection built for how your APIs actually work
ArxLayer inspects REST, GraphQL, and gRPC traffic at the edge, before it reaches your origin. Validate against your schema, enforce token and rate controls, and apply OWASP CRS inspection, with enforcement that understands machine identity.
The problem
APIs expose your business logic directly
An API publishes exactly how to reach your data and functions. Attackers and abusive clients read the same contract you do.
Malformed and unexpected payloads
Stolen and abused tokens
Machine traffic is hard to reason about
What you get
Enforcement that speaks your API's language
ArxLayer combines schema-aware validation with OWASP CRS inspection and identity-aware controls, all enforced at the edge.

OWASP CRS inspection
Token and abuse controls
Machine-identity-aware enforcement
Detect, tune, block
Versioned, reversible policy
How it works
Protected without rewriting your API
Route traffic through the edge, define what good looks like, and enforce when you're confident.

FAQ
Questions, answered
- Which API protocols does ArxLayer support?
- REST, GraphQL, and gRPC. Schema validation and OWASP CRS inspection apply at the edge before traffic reaches your origin.
- How does ArxLayer protect machine-to-machine traffic?
- Enforcement can be bound to the calling workload's machine identity, so M2M requests are controlled by which workload is calling, not user-agent alone.
- Will turning this on break legitimate clients?
- Not if you use simulate mode first. Run inspection on live traffic, review what would block, then enforce with confidence.
- Does the enforcement layer hold my private keys?
- No. The edge stores no private keys; certificate lifecycle and key custody live behind separate boundaries.
Protect every API endpoint you expose
Validate against your schema, control token abuse, and inspect with OWASP CRS, all at the edge. Start in simulate mode and enforce when you're ready.
